Hey, Lellie here! a 20-something year old gal from NJ/NYC with a passion for interior decorating, DIY, architecture, and loves giving lackluster rooms exciting, functional, and aesthetic personality-filled makeovers. Aside from studying architecture, I took a shot at studying environmental design and interned as an experiential designer at a luxury marketing agency in New York City.
But here’s the thing – I wasn’t always confident with my skills. After moving into my new apartment, I was unsure about what my style really is and overwhelmed by the prospect of bringing new life to a new space, especially as a broke college student!
That all changed when I started viewing spaces as a creative playground rather than a daunting finals project that I have to stay up all night for. I remembered how much I enjoyed creating 3D and physical models of buildings and imagining solutions to my designs. Inspired by this and with a newfound creative process in interior decorating (and a lot of inspo from Pinterest boards), I discovered the joy of budget DIY makeovers and adding fun decor to my apartment that speaks to my style.
